Jazz Club Lionel Hampton - As Paris temple for
Jazz and Rythm'n'Blues, the Jazz Club Lionel Hampton is the place
to be for Jazz and live music lovers. Since its opening in 1976,
the most well known Jazz players have performed here - BB King,
Cab Calloway, Fats Domino, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton and many
others. Every Monday, the Jazz Club hosts a Big Band and, over
15 days at the end of April, welcomes the first Big Band Festival
in Paris with, amongst others, the Count Basie Orchestra and the
Claude Bolling Big Band.
